Request for a table for two on Reflection in the MDR

Does anyone know how to get a table for two? I know to go to the MDR when we board the ship but I was wondering if I should tip as I ask? Will that help us get a table for two?

Choose Select Dining. Tell the Maitre'D that you don't want to share. You'll always get a table for two, but you might have to wait a bit each night, ( you might not. )

It's too late to change to Select Dining if you haven't already made that choice, although you can ask on board to see if there are spaces available for that option if you want it.

You may already have either early or late dining assigned. Your travel agent would have advised you - or perhaps you already have select dining if that is the case you would have already been charged and paid your gratuities and getting a table for 2 is no issue.

 

If you have been assigned early or late ...first figure out where your seating has been assigned (your travel agent may have already requested a two top .. there are quite a few) if not approach the Maitr'd nicely and he/she will usually fix you up with what you want. They want you to be happy!

We were select dining & had a table for 2 every night.

 

The tables are really close to each other so most nights we talked to the people next to us if they wanted to however some nights people didnt want to and that was okay too.

 

We loved select dining & will find it very hard to go back to set dining if we need to - our next 2 cruises are select so all good there.

 

Have a wonderful cruise - very jealous you are going within the next 24 hours.
