Royal Clipper Library,...Patrick O'Brain's books on the shelves?

It occurred to me that maybe I could leave the e-reader at home if the ship's library is well stocked with most of O'Brian's books. Anyone recall what is on those shelves?

I was thinking that for what reading time I have O'Brian books may just add something special to the April Transatlantic Crossing to Europe from Barbados. Anyone else found this a neat idea?

Mindfultraveler,

I am sorry to have to disappoint you. Perhaps three, four years ago you sometimes would find a Patrick O'Brian's book on the shelves. No longer. The total amount of books in the library is dwindling, due to so many passengers taking e-readers with them. Why don't you download them on your e-reader, should still give you that special feeling. Have a wonderful crossing, enough sunshine and fair winds. Enjoy!

I thought that Patrick O'Brian's sea tales would add something to the journey. So, I will have a look around. Used books are so much less then ebook prices that I will just buy a few to bring along.

Thanks for your observations about the library.
