nyonefivetwo Posted March 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2013 Okay folks, My family and I are leaving out of Port Canaveral and staying in Cocoa Beach the night before. We'll arrive about 5 PM at the hotel but want to enjoy the area a bit that evening. We won't have a car, so we're wondering what we can do to explore the area - must see's, must eat's, and must do's...any suggestions? Thanks all! nyonefivetwo Posted March 14, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted March 14, 2013 I believe we'll be at the Courtyard - we're not 100% sure yet, however.
WendyVF Posted March 14, 2013 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2013 We've stayed at the Country Inn & the Radisson. There are several hotels between the two and I think that's where the Courtyard is but please doublecheck the addresses to be sure. Our pre-cruise evening starts with dinner at Fishlips to watch the ships sail. We use the hotel shuttle or a cab, it's fairly cheap. After dinner we go back to the hotel and walk to the go-Kart track for a little racing. They also have an arcade. They may have mini golf but I'm not positive. After that it's back to the hotel for a drink around the pool and usually a meet and greet with fellow CC folks from the roll call.
nyonefivetwo Posted March 14, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted March 14, 2013 That sounds like a blast! We're a rather competitive family, so the go-Karts would be awesome! Thanks for the info!
LandlockedCruiser01 Posted March 14, 2013 #6 Share Posted March 14, 2013 Joining in to hear suggestions. My situation in 30 days is the same (staying for one night pre-cruise, not renting a car, etc.), except I'm cruising solo.
