Congrats on the upcoming wedding and your first cruise! I suggest going to the PORTS of CALL board here on CC and do some research. We are going to a couple of your same ports this December and have found a ton of great information on those forums over there. You can also search the Carnival forum for answers also....and

I have been on the Legend and she is a great ship. The wrap around category eleven cabins are the best on the ship IMHO. Take a look at my first link and I have some photos of cabin #4228 which I had on the Pride and Legend. It will show you the wrap around balcony.

Also take a look at this link and you can see a virtual tour of the ship.

Have a great cruise.

First, congratulations on your wedding!! What a wonderful way to start your new life together.

We are doing the same cruise on June 30th and was looking for something special. In St Thomas we came across the nightwind (http://www.sailnightwind.com). It is a full day of sailing, snorkeling, eating, and drinking. Check it out!! There is another couple who is getting married just before their cruise on the same sailing of ours, perhaps find out what they are doing. Our posting is at - http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=79242&goto=newpost.

We will be posting a review right after the cruise, so keep a watch out. Have a great cruise. If you have anyquestions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Hi, We will be on the same cruise. I am doing a lot of research. Carnival has an excursion to Lambert Beach in Tortola, which includes lunch and I think use of the resort at that beach's facilities. I would definitely do it, but it is too expensive for a family of four. My kids definitely want to do the Dolphin swim in Tortola, still investigating that. We are one the only ship in port that day, so the public beaches should not be too crowded. The problem is a lot of them are out of the way, and we have to be back on the ship for a 2 pm departure. I heard the Baths in Virgin Gorda are a must see, but my family has no interest in that. Cane Bay, Longwood Bay have both been recommended to us, with Cane Bay being the most mentioned. Also Smugglers Cove, but you need a 4-wheeler to get there.

Coki Beach has been recommended to us in St. Thomas. It is adjacent to Coral World, check out their website coralworld.com, I think. There are admission coupons on the website it has aqariums, shark tanks, nature walks, etc and is in walking distance to Coki Beach. Megan's Bay seems to be the most popular, but we are one of three ships in port that day, and most people say that beach is very crowded. Sapphire Beach is also beautiful, friends were there in April and recommend it.

What do you plan on for San Juan. The time for that is a bit off, arriving at 3pm and leaving at midnight. Senor Frogs seems to be the hot spot for both older teens and up. My kids will probably go there, but I might just enjoy having most of the ship to ourselves if we stay on board.

If you hear of anything else, please let me know. I will do the same. We are a group of 60, so we might just meet up on board. I am sure you will have the best honeymoon!

Hi! Congrats on your upcoming wedding and welcome to the boards! Your cabin is the best...we got to tour it on our 6/6 sailing of the Legend. One of our CC roll call friends had it, and she was kind enough to allow us in. It's beautiful. I would book it in a heartbeat! The ship is beautiful. I've only been on 3 cruises, but so far this one is my favorite ship.

In San Juan, we didn't book an excursion, just did our own thing. We walked to the Castillo de San Cristobal, which is gorgeous and not far from the ship. Then we walked around town, and headed to Senor Frogs. For St. Thomas, we booked Godfrey, and I couldn't sing his praises enough. Even in downpours, it was still a great tour for $20. He is the best! He took us to Coki Beach, where you have 2 hours there, and everything is at your disposal. My husband went jetskiing.

This is a fantastic trip. You will have such a great time!

July16bride,

what is your cabin number? We're staying in Room #7347 on Verandah Deck.

It's a category 11 suite with a wraparound balcony, too.

I'll try to post pictures of our suite for you when we return. I had some awesome links to photo gallery of a Cat.11 suite and wraparound balcony, but they are not working anymore.
