Price Reduction, but no remaining Quad Balcony

So I have been getting price reductions over the last few weeks. I have a Quad Balcony booked (8E). There are no Quad Balconies (other than extended) remaining, so I did a mock booking for 3 people. When I compared that to what I am paying for the first 3 people in our cabin, I show a reduced price of $120. My TA said that he checked with Carnival, and since the only available Quads are Extended Balcony and cost more, that there is no price reduction. THere is no way I can check the price for a quad since the Fare Viewer is broken. So is what my TA saying truely the case?

Yes, your TA is right. In order to qualify for a price reduction you have to price match to your EXACT category with the EXACT number of guests per cabin.

If sold out, you can start looking at higher categories for a possible upgrade.
