Mega Food

Shows like that are always amazing to see. This will sound weird but I have always wanted to see the dishwashing operation on one of these ships! I managed a lodge in Colorado that was 32 rooms and we served breakfast and dinner each day. Just taking the amount of dishes we had to clean each service and the very precise temperatures, times etc. required to clean and disinfect I can not even imagine what the ships operation looks like. Like I said, weird, but that's what I would choose for my behind the scenes look hahaha:rolleyes:.

There's more than a handful of documentaries over the years that feature RCI ships - I even made a list of the one's I've seen on the subscription cable in Australia (Foxtel) previously posted here. Given not many have such a dedicated insight into the food & beverage department as the Mega Food episode.

Oasis of the Seas

Extreme Cruise Ship - Nat Geo Adventure

Megastructures: World's Biggest Cruise Ship - National Geographic

Mega Food: The World's Biggest Cruise Ship - Nat Geo Adventure

Mighty Ships - Discovery Channel Turbo Max

Allure of the Seas

World's Top 5: Mega Ships - Discovery Channel Turbo Max

Freedom of the Seas

Megastructures: Colossal Cruise Ship - National Geographic

Independence of the Seas

Big, Bigger, Biggest: Cruise Ship - National Geographic

Extreme Engineering: Floating City - Discovery Science

Mariner of the Seas

Great Cruises!: Mexican Riveria - TLC

Navigator of the Seas

Great Cruises!: Caribbean - TLC

Radiance of the Seas

World's Toughest Fixes: Operation Cruise Ship - Discovery Channel

Brilliance of the Seas

Great Cruises!: Mediterranean - TLC

Rhapsody of the Seas

Great Cruises!: Asia - TLC

The list doesn't include "Cruises We Love" as these use the same footage as "Great Cruises!" with a shorter running time. I'm sure there's other documentaries that I've missed (e.g. maybe they don't get shown in Australia)

Here is an episode guide for the show:

I will say, this is the schedule for Australia (note the .au) When I look up the schedule for National Geographic in the US, on Nov 6th, there are no cruise related programs. In fact, there does not appear to be a Nat Geo Adventure channel here. Only reg Nat Geo and Nat Geo Wild. At least I can't find it.
