Short notice on port changes

Has anyone actually gotten Half Moon Cay as a replacement for Grand Turk? All I have seen are Key West, Freeport, and sometimes Nassau.

We sail on the Breeze Thanksgiving week. The only one of those alternative ports mentioned to replace GT (should the water issues not be fixed by then) that I would consider a decent option would be Key West. The last time I was in Freeport it was a dump. I am sure it has been improved since then but still. I have been to Nassau. THe water is too cold in November. I can find plenty of things to do in Key West.

 

This water thing has been going on for some time. We met people last year in Curacao or Aruba at Christmas that were on the Breeze (we were on another cruiseline's vessel) that said they had missed GT then.
