Document dance--but a discrepancy?

I'm flying out tomorrow for my cruise, and I was reprinting my documents in order to make sure all my OBC shows and it reflects my cabin upgrade.

I noticed that when I go to "manage my cruise" it shows a certain amount of money as OBC under "Booking charge/credit"~~$227

But on my printed documents the amount clearly marked "on board credit" is MORE....$$244.

They did change my port from Freeport to Little Stirrup Cay, but when they did that, about $17 showed up on my OBC. I just can't figure out this other one. Maybe an adjustment in port taxes somewhere else?

Any insight. (And believe me, I'm just curious....definitely not complaining!)

By chance did you purchase travel protection through Carnival?

If so then with price drops came travel protection price drops as well.

I had this happen and for the life of me could not figure it out.

I went line by line and realized the reduced cruise fare resulted in lowered travel protection and that was where the heck our extra OBC came from.
