Tours that include Washington Slagbaai National Park?

If you rent be sure to tell the rental folks that you want to go to the park. Only some vehicles are allowed there, mostly trucks and suv's. Also, get all the insurance they sell unless you are using Amex which sometimes covers trucks. You would need to call Amex before you go and set it up--I think it's $20. per rental period.

It is rough driving and riding in the park and time consuming to go there and see anything-you may not have time. It's usually most of a day to go there, make a dive or two and get back--even though it's not that far. An alternative if you're diving, would be to take a boat from Buddydive or Habitat, or another operator. We once did it with Bruce Bowker's Caribe Inn boat.

If you are mostly interested in seeing Flamingos, you can do that down south in the salt pans or on the north road to Rincon before entering the park. There is a paved road that goes around the south end and back toward the dock. Paved to Rincon and paved along the western shore also to Rincon. I found a good map online recently, just google it........We have been visiting Bonaire since '86 to scuba dive, some 15-20 trips now and returning in 2 weeks.
