kev_chua Posted April 23, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 23, 2013 Our cruise (Royal Caribbean Vision of the Sea) will end in Copenhagen. The ship is expected to be in port by 7 am. There is a flight from Copenhagen back to London at 10.25 am. Will we be able to make it from the Port to the airport on time? Or would we be better off with the 2.25 pm flight. We rather like the 10.25 am flight as it brings us to Stansted which is nearer for us - than the 2.25 pm flight which takes us to Gatwick. Appreciate your advice. dogs4fun Posted April 23, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 23, 2013 10:25 is cutting it awfully close, IMHO. I would opt for the later flight. We made the 11:30 flight when docked (Freeport) in CPH, but 10:30 assumes that you will be right off the ship and on your way ... not enough wiggle room. I, personally, would not chance it. However, your option may be viable flying from CPH to the UK ... not sure.
blonde1981 Posted April 23, 2013 #3 Share Posted April 23, 2013 I believe Royal advises not to book flights before 12 or 12:30 for that itinerary.
Danish viking Posted April 23, 2013 #4 Share Posted April 23, 2013 That advice is probably only for transcontinental flights Are you flying with Norwegian or Easyjet (i believe that BA and SAS only uses Heathrow) Norwegian fly´s from the regular terminals but Easyjet is using the CPH Go terminal that is located 15-20 on foot from the check in areas at terminal 2 and 3) 2 hours before should be enough
kev_chua Posted April 24, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted April 24, 2013 Hi Danish Viking I am flying EasyJet; so will be using the CPH Go terminal. How far is the airport from the port terminal and what's the best way for me to get there?
