Archaegeo Posted May 5, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2013 We are sailing on a family cruise in Oct on the Allure. We have one Owners suite for gathering, a connecting d2 balcony, and on the same deck a boardwalk balcony. My wife and I are platinum due to our celebrity cross over status, and we are in the suite. Her parents are also cross over platinum, but are in the balcony. My parents are first time cruisers in the boardwalk balcony. I know from sailing the Oasis last year that they have different boarding areas for suites, and then the C&A levels, and then everyone else (flashback to the old days of steerage) My question is, will we be allowed to board together? And if so, do we don't at the lowest level or can everyone board with us at the suite boarding time? Thanks for any input

Archaegeo Posted May 5, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted May 5, 2013 We will be traveling with our 8.5 mo old (at that time) daughter, hence the built in babysitters in tow, but we want avoid having to sit in that building for too long so we will take advantage iof the suite head of line boarding, but wasn't sure how the others would have to queue up

They can only say no ! :-)
Ourusualbeach Posted May 5, 2013 #5 Share Posted May 5, 2013 We were in a suite (also platinum) and my mother (1'st cruise) in an inside was allowed to board with us.
CruisinMatt Posted May 5, 2013 #6 Share Posted May 5, 2013 It can go both ways - just ask - in the end you'll all be on the ship within an hours time anyway.
Janet524 Posted May 5, 2013 #7 Share Posted May 5, 2013 We're D+ and sailed on Allure with friends who are not. We just told the person directing us to the check in line that we were all travelling together and she directed us all to the D+ check in. No problem. It's not like this doesn't happen all the time. We've always found the personnel very accommodating.
AlanAllyn Posted May 6, 2013 #8 Share Posted May 6, 2013 Unless you get there before they start checking in, all of the lines are usually quite short. Both times we sailed, they met their goal of less than 15 minutes from curb to on board.
