Info on Chef's Table

Recommended Posts

Could I get some opinions on Chef's Table specialty please. Is it a fixed menu for all, or some limited choices? Is it in the MDR or another location?

Did you enjoy it and feel it was worth the experience or would you rather go to Chops, or another dining specialty?

THANKS SO MUCH:D

Chefs table is a fixed menu...there were 2 to choose from on allure. A menu was served on certain nights and B menu the other nights. So we picked the menu we liked & reserved that night it was served! We got a call the day we reserved to find out about food allergies we met in the library before for champagne then escorted to an area in the concierge lounge for the dinner! It was amazing!!!! The food was delicious and the wines! Then we got a picture with the chef and he autographed a cookbook and we got an apron! Would do this again!!! Highly recommend!!! Hope you reserve it!.

If you're debating between Chef's Table, Chops or 150 Central Park...Chef's Table is absolutely the one to do. We did Chef's Table on Allure a few months ago and it was fantastic. We also did 150 Central Park on that cruise and were extremely disappointed in the meal. The Chef's Table was worth every penny, while I felt we were ripped off at 150 Central Park.

THANK YOU both so much!

I am sailing on the Brilliance next week just coming out of drydock with new concierge and diamond lounges, and a few new restaurant options.... They don't have 150 Central Park. But they do have Chops, Izumi, Rita's Cantina, and Giovanni's, as well as the Chef's Table...

I am trying to get some cruise critic roll call "friends' to join me and this helps alot! Yummmmmm

I will let them know what to expect, and if no takers...I will go anyway!

Thanks again!:D

Don't forget that you can also get a package for the Chef's Table and other specialty restaurants that will save you about $30 over dining separately. We purchased one for our upcoming Rhapsody cruise that includes Chef's Table, Chops, Giovanni's table and Izumi (they give a credit for Izumi, which is ala carte pricing). So why choose?;)

Thanks Travel R!

And Jean ...I really like the way you think! :p Why choose? DO it all!!!

Of course they will have to roll me off the ship, but I was expecting that!

It's the food withdrawals when you get home that hurt:o

I also love your screen name...critterchick....should be mine too!

Can't wait! And it all goes by so fast....

Happy cruising

Deb
