it really is a beautiful sight. knowing the jobs that this boat creates along with the income for the home port, it's great to see her in action again. even though, she still has a month to go. ha.

Looks like they're backing it down the river to the south turning basin, which is bigger than the north basin.

It's been two years since I cruised out of mobile. Right before they stopped there. Doesn't it take about three hours to reach the gulf under normal circumstances.

It's 30 miles down the bay to the open water. I don't know how fast they can travel in the bay, but that sounds about right.
