barefeet222 Posted June 9, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2004 I've read great reviews and all 3 of these outfits. Has anyone been on more than one that compare them. I can't decide which to pursue. Voyager of the Sea 3/26/
ljrfrm Posted June 9, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2004 Like you, I heard great things about each of these companies. I really didn't have a choice though, as Nativeway was the only one that fit the time we were in port....so that made my decision for me. I'd be interested to hear what others say too. OrangeCallaLily Posted June 11, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 11, 2004 I have not been on any of the tours, but I did read up on all 3 on the boards. This may sound odd, but I was not impressed with Captain Marivn's website - so I decided to go with Nativeway. I sent them an email about a week ago requesting a reservation, but I never heard anything back. So, yesterday I went online to Soto's website and requested a reservation throught them. I have not heard back as of yet... so we shall see. RCCL Mariner 9/26/

dialysistech Posted June 11, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 11, 2004 Hi, I'm booked with Capt. Bryan's, I too wanted the Bucaneer for said reasons but also was not in port long enough, they caught that, so it seems they will look out for us. hate to miss the tender back. I first tried Nativeway and emailed them, but didn't hear a response, and it has been two weeks.

Cruisin' Lisa Posted June 12, 2004 #8 Share Posted June 12, 2004 we are probably going to book with Soto's , they are $24pp vs $39 or $34pp. I Emailed them this week and they answered back within 48 hours (their Email was sent to my "Junk Mail" automatically by my computer, so check your junk mail and don't just accidentally erase it.) DonnaD Posted June 12, 2004 #9 Share Posted June 12, 2004 I am booked with Capt. Bryan's too. They adjusted their excursion for the ship's time in port, which I thought was great. So far they have been really good to work with. I also liked the idea of sailing vs motorboat. Donna
Dannzzigg Posted June 13, 2004 #10 Share Posted June 13, 2004 According to their website, it's a cash bar. <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by barefeet222: <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by Jason Senft: Don't forget about http://caymanislandsdiscounts.com/Stingray_City_Buccaneer_Excursion.htm and http://caymanislandsdiscounts.com/CaptainBryan.htm we looked at all of these and decided on the Buccaneer because it was brand new, was a catamaran, 3 snorkeling sites and a bar onboard! Pistachio42 Posted June 14, 2004 #11 Share Posted June 14, 2004 We used Nativeway last fall and were very pleased with them. They provided a free-lance videographer on our excursion.
catnipper Posted June 18, 2004 #12 Share Posted June 18, 2004 We booked with Nativeway and were in Grand Cayman on May 31 - it was a FABULOUS trip - there were 4 of us on the boat (that could hold approximately 20, and 2 guides - we were on the Sensation, they picked us up at the designated time and had us back within 5 minutes of when they said they would have us back. The guides were wonderful and informative - we swam with the stingrays and snorkeled - it was one of the highlights of our trip. The boat provided water and punch and had all the equipment on the boat, including a bathroom. catnipper Posted June 18, 2004 #14 Share Posted June 18, 2004 This was my 2nd trip on the Sensation - I love the boat - it's a great size! It was a good trip except we had 900 kids under the age of 21 on the boat - many were just graduating from high school - timing was definitely the key! However, we had a great time and would go again in a skinny minute!
