sunnysavannah Posted May 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2013 I've noticed that they have an OV GTY for a little less than our connecting insides. Is it possible to book a Connecting GTY? They also have Inside GTYs for the same price as the OV. Is it even possible to get a little price break and keep connecting cabins? I may not want to mess with it to save $50 and risk messing everything up. I'm happy with the location of our cabin.
xxHadleyxx Posted May 13, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2013 I am nearly positive that you canNOT book gty and specify that the cabins must be connecting. Sorry.

You will likely be moved and lose your location if you choose a GTY.
Ourusualbeach Posted May 13, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 13, 2013 From my experience you CANNOT do a guarantee with connecting cabins. We tried to do this last Christmas. We booked online and RCI,s booking system actually let you proceed through the entire process and book the guarantee but when they allocated the cabin it was a no. I called right away and was lucky enough that they were able to get us side by side for 2 cruises and across the hall for the other one.
sunnysavannah Posted May 13, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted May 13, 2013 Right, in playing around with mock bookings, it does let you select connecting, but I figured that it wouldn't go through. We do have friends without kids who are traveling with us and this is a good option for them. Maybe something will come along for us and our friends with kids. :)
