Bunch of silly questions

I know these answers are probably somewhere on here but would appreciate any answers you might have for a new Celebrity cruiser.

Will they take travelers checks in Bermuda or just cash.

Can you pay your charges on board at the end with travelers checks?

What do you do with the stuff you carry on until your cabin is ready?

I arranged select dining every night at six for main dining room but if we decide to not eat

in MDR and do a different dining venue that night do we cancel or just not show

up?

Is there a happy hour anywhere each night where the drinks are less expensive? (I did not get the drink package offer)

How is the kids club for a 12 year old?

Thanks so much. Summit to Bermuda in only 7 days!!!!!!!

Traveler's checks are not widely accepted anymore but you can always ask. Credit cards may be your best option for most purchases

Yes.

You keep it with you until your cabin is ready. You may hear reference to people dropping their carry-on in their rooms and then going to lunch. This used to be possible, but generally isn't any more.

With select dining, you could just not show up, but it would be nice to tell the MaitreD so they can release that table for other diners instead of holding it for you

Sometimes there is. If there is, it will be noted in the Daily

How is the kids club for a 12 year old?

Generally quite good

In another thread you asked about cell phones. Very expensive -- approximately $2.50 per minute

CruiseStitch answered your questions quite well. I'd also comment that you can cash traveller's checks on board prior to going ashore in Bermuda. Whether or not they are accepted in any foreign country is dependent on the particular merchant's policy. And one last comment on traveller's checks. They used to be accepted in the casino but no longer are. You have to go to guest relations to cash them.
