Delayed Delivery of Art Purchases on Voyager

We purchased three paintings during the Feb 19, 2013 sailing of Voyager of the Seas out of Sydney. The sales order states delivery 8-10 weeks from disembarkation. Now expired I have contacted RCCL who have fobbed me off to Art at Sea, their independent contractor. An email reponse form Art at Sea advisers a further 4-5 weeks delivery, without an explanation :mad:

 

We can kirb our dissapointment until then but I thought I may let others know so you can tuck such information in the back of your mind if considering purchasing art on an RCCL ship ;)

 

Oh, and just in case my readers think the delay is because Australia is so far away, we have previously purchased art from Celebrity and Princess and delivery was within a few weeks. With Princess the shipment was received a few days after we arrived home :D
