Terri102066 Posted June 21, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2005 I have saw several places where the menu is posted for dinner, but what about breakfast and lunch. I know the menus are posted at the entrance to the resturant, but I would like to know maybe the day before for the breakfast menu so I could make my mind up where I will be eating before I get up and get dressed. I have saw sample menus, but I was wanting something more concrete. Also when the menu is posted for the evening, most places list the 7 day menu, is the 5 day menu the first 5 days or could it be different. auntienance Posted June 22, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2005 On the Conquest, the breakfast menu was the same every day. The menus for the dining room and the Point (lunch as well as dinner) could be viewed on your television every day.

Cotton Posted June 22, 2005 #4 Share Posted June 22, 2005 Yes, all Carnival ships have identical menus for all meals in the dining room. Breakfast menu is the same every day, BUT there are so many choices, you can have something different each day. The lunch menu varies each day, so never the same, but always very, very good choices. CARNIVAL DINING ROOM BREAKFAST MENU: Great Beginnings: Grapefruit Banana Melon in season Orange Grapefruit sections Baked apple Stewed prunes Chilled juices - Orange, pineapple, grapefruit, apple, tomato, prune Cereals: Hot oatmeal Hot cream of wheat Corn Flakes Frosted Flakes Special K Sugar Pops Raisin Bran Rice Krispies All Bran 40% Bran flakes Breakfast Entrees: Eggs Carnival: Boiled, scrambled, fried, poached on toast Eggs Benedict Buttermilk pancakes French toast Lox 'n bagels Omelette Eggsceptionale: Plain, Ham, Cheese, Ham & cheese, Smoked whitefish Low-cholesterol egg substitute available on request (EggBeaters) On the Side: Corned beef hash Sliced breakfast ham Hickory-smoked sliced bacon Grits Hash browns Breakfast link pork sausages From the Bakery: Danish Croissant Muffins Plain and raisin English muffins Bagels White, whole wheat, rye toast Beverages: Freshly brewed regular and decaf coffee Iced or hot herbal tea Milk Skimmed milk Espresso Cappuccino Hot chocolate ........so, as you can see, the dining room menu has something for everyone. And - it's so much fresher, right off the stove, than the Lido Deck buffet breakfast. I have all three meals each day in the dining room. I LIKE being pampered at all meals.:) (I typed this fast, and didn't double check my spelling......)

flamingokidz Posted September 10, 2005 #7 Share Posted September 10, 2005 Breakfast selection is quite vast in the dining room and it is the same daily. You can find anything from eggs benedict to lox and bagels to pancakes, french toast, omelettes, cereal, croissants, oatmail, grits, potatoes, juices, yogurt, fresh fruit, etc. Lunch and dinner for the next day are posted at the restaurant. Lunch is quite nice in the dining room. The lido deck has good food too. Lynne Hope this helps.

I also have a place where anyone can get all 7 days worth of menus listed and som additional info is at www.cruiseclues.com this is one of my favorites after cruisecritic! It has a list of menus and supperclub menus the only thing is you have to try diffrent ships to get lunch menus to come up! i will also say the day they have ribs is well worth going for and i also love the avacodo soup! cherun Posted September 21, 2005 #9 Share Posted September 21, 2005 Under the beverages listed in the dining room, it shows Espresso and Cappuccino, do those cost extra? I have only read that tea, coffee and juices are free and maybe that is just at the buffet. Thanks
MsBlue Posted October 2, 2005 #10 Share Posted October 2, 2005 I always have either espresso or cappuccino with or after every meal in the dining room. There's no charge.
