April 2005 Med Cruise

Did anyone take a cruise in April 2005 to the Med, specifically Greek Isles? If so, how was the weather? Was it too cool? Would May be better? Thanks.

Greece and the Med are normally balmy in April. If you are concerned about sunbathing, you should not have a problem.

We cruised the Med in April this year on board Grand Princess and the weather in Greece was perfect! Temps around 25 degres celsius and blue skies every day.

 

The sea however was freezing so couldn't go swimming. We were told that the sea temp doesn't warm up enough for swimming until about July. Of course then you are in the heat of the summer and also have the crowds. We were so pleased we had booked for April...can't imagine what the heat and crowds must be like mid summer.
