Chacchoben Mayan Ruins - Carnival vs Native Choice

Costa Maya will be one of our ports on our Carnival Dream cruise. The shop leaves at 2, so we do not have a lot of time.

 

I want to do the shore excursion to Chacchoben. Any have any comparisons between the excursion through Carnival and through Native Choice?

 

The price difference is $15/an adult, $25 for children.

 

My biggest concern is getting back in time for the 2PM departure.

Native choice was great. we got in before all the buses so it was almost empty. by the time we left there were tons of buses and harder to get good photos.

Two Kids - have you booked yet? I can't decide if I should book through Native or just pay the extra to book through CCL. I'm so nervous about the 2:00 departure and would hate to miss the boat.

Booking today. Native Choice says they will get back by 12, so that is a two hour window.

We did Native Choice and it was a excellent tour. We did the tour that included a meal at a Mayan home, very tasty. :)
