BUSYGIRL Posted June 12, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2013 My DD and I usually travel Disney and Carnival but I want to try something new. Can the Oasis compare to Disney in children's activities? DD is 8 and loves Disney's Oceanner Club and Lab!

The fun, activities and array of things to do is as good as DCL in my opinion. My two boys who are now adults did both DCL and RCI and loved both equally. Though one was disappointed to not have Disney everywhere. Hope that helps.

DD is 8 and loves Disney's Oceanner Club and Lab! They do also offer the DreamWorks characters so it will be different than Disney yet will stay have the whimsical effect of getting pictures and autographs from these characters. I have heard great things about Adventure Ocean and I think depending your DD's age she may like it even better since there may be more room for independence (again, depending on her age and how the parent feels). Regarless, I'm sure you will love cruising and everyday is a new adventure on board! Enjoy!
