This happen to me about 5 years ago. The day before i left on the cruise I had an interview and was offered a job. I started right after the cruise. :)

we have a cruise booked for 9/9/13. our final payment is in a week and 1/2. I lost my job on wed. my mom is going with us and I have already bought her plane ticket to come to FL. My husband is thinking we will have to put the cruise off. we have already put it off once, we was going in july. I hope it can work out for the best. :(

 

I had the same thing happen to me in 2008, and I had already made my final payment. I did purchase insurance and I got all my money back. After much debate, we decided to cancel the cruise. I think I was in a state of shock not believing this could have happened. Did you purchase the cruise insurance?
