Overall this was a great cruise. We met loads of nice people, weather great, ports excellent, food v good.

But some things were just a bit sloppy and the on board crew should have spotted them. Remember this was a cruise to Iberia.

Examples:

The Horizon newsletter.

Port special - opened with 'Welcome to this cruise to Norway'.

Final Sailaway - 'lets have a great British Sailaway party as we leave Olden.'

Water - buy 6 bottles for the price of 5, a saving of 45%.

 

And many more howlers.

 

This is just poor with obviously no proof reading being done.

On Oceana last week, the captain announced that the weather was good for us as was expected in the Med. we were in Vigo at the time only going as far as Porto! Now that was a bit of a worry!!:confused:

I was also on Iberia X314 and noticed these mistakes. I agree with you that more care should have been taken before printing but what a great cruise. Even although the Great British Sailaway was interrupted, I have never seen so many people line all the decks to participate. I hope P and O got some good photos. Congratulations to Natalie, Dom, Paul and the entertainment team for making it such great fun. :)

Yes we got the feeling that the entertainment staff were enjoying having a relatively youthful crowd on board. A few times they said that the next lot would all be old as the vessel was heading north up to Iceland !!

Also many of them were also leaving with us after many months on board and were probably a bit hyper themselves.
