Karensan Posted August 2, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2013 Has anyone gone on this 14-day PG cruise? Please write to me at Karensan@aol.com. We have been on two other PG cruises, and are thinking of going to Australia/SE Asia on the Aug. 2014 cruise.
Emdee Posted August 2, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2013 It's the first time the pg is going into Asia. It's doing it because of the dry dock work in Singapore. So it's a new itinerary.
Down Under Posted August 3, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2013 I've been told that the PG was not built to cross oceans so the journey may not be very smooth. Correct me if I'm wrong.
twin123185 Posted August 3, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 3, 2013 Well folks last year I was on the Brisbane to Papeete trip. While we had an awesome time the weather did not cooperate and I have pictures of the water rising above my deck 3 cabin and video of water smashing into my porthole. Now we had 3 typhoons and an earthquake to deal with but I will still not ever book another PG cruise that is not strictly FP/Cooks. It was definitely an interesting trip. Emdee Posted August 3, 2013 #5 Share Posted August 3, 2013 I did the Papeete to Fiji a few years ago in November ...the seas were calm throughout. It's the luck of the draw IMO.
Ahab10 Posted August 3, 2013 #6 Share Posted August 3, 2013 We did it two times. 1st time was great and the second not so. We would do it again.;)
