NCL Dawn Balcony Door

I am cruising on the Dawn in Nov. I have cruised on her in the past, but it has been a few years. Would someone please tell me if the balcony doors open out or slide. I think they slide, but just can't remember. I am trying to figure if I need to bring a bungee cord to hold it open. Thanks in advance!! :D

Please don't leave the balcony door open with the air conditioning on. It messes up not only your cabin but those other cabins around you.

 

The NCL sign that asks you not to do that is there for a purpose.

I know not to leave the door open with the air on. I have read the signs too. I like to breath the ocean air and hear the sound of the water when I sleep. I'm sure my neighbors wouldn't appreciate a slamming door in the middle of the night however. :D
