There are lots of us frugal cruisers on CC. You can have a really great time without money on a cruise. Exploring ports is fun and doesn't have to cost anything. Soaking up the feeling of a new place is half the fun. It's worth getting off the ship to use free wifi if nothing else.

 

We requested free tickets to the KSC from our Senator 90 days in advance for our family of four. Going to KSC free was nice but the ride getting there was expensive.

 

Does anyone know if there is still an inexpensive shuttle to Coco and the Ron Jon shop? I think it was something like $5, well worth the cost.

Not sure about Carnival but most ships these days including the one we are sailing this May, NCL Getaway , offer a fee pay $$ ice cream shop...they like to fancy it up and call it Gelato...anyways I found out through research that the ship has FREE soft serve ice cream and also in the buffet they serve hard hand scooped ice cream with some great favors...Check that out on your ship before you get roped into spending for something that free.
