Can someone tell me what exactly is available with the weekly spa package? Suana, showers, etc?

Also, what hours are the Spa open???

Thanks!

Hi Folks,

While cruising on both Carnival and RCCL the spa's change rooms, showers, sauna etc were co-located with the fitness centre and there was no charge.

It allowed you to freshen up after a morning workout, and then you weren't a dripping sweaty mess going to grab a bite to eat.

If Princess want to charge people US$70 to use the facilities (sauna, steam room etc) then they'll have to contend with an onslaught of stinky sweaty bodies parading into the Horizon Court for breakfast after a workout.

If you really wanted to know, you could email the ship and ask their policy. The email address for CB is:

nameofship@princesscruises.com

The email will go to the ship's Communication Centre. If you send it ATTN: Spa Manager, they would be in the best position to respond to your inquiry.

Ciao for now!!!

On CB there is a regular sauna and steam room located in the ladies locker room. That one is free. There is a relaxation suite inside the spa which is $70 a week. It is co-ed and contains heated tile lounge chairs, aroma therapy steam and sauna, tropical rain shower with 6 heads, and a mint, steam shower room. It is very zen and relaxing and you can go with you spouse or friends. You have to wear a bathing suit (of course) but it is much nicer than the free sauna area. You can't book ahead of time, but it won't sell out or anything and you don't have to book a time to use it, just go whenever you want.
