RCCL Wine and Dine packages vs ordering off the full wine list

I don't think they have "premium wines" on the ship. The most premium you are going to get is Beringer White Zinfadel for $24.95 a bottle. There is an RCI link out there called Wine and Beer - it has copies of the wine list (with prices) in it as well as the name of a company that will deliver wine and beer to your cabin prior to sailing (that way you can get what you REALLY WANT to drink for FAR LESS than anything on the ship). Check it out.

Does anyone have this link?

The wines that are on offer through the stateroom gifts can be found at:

http://www.royalcaribbean.com/giftcatalog/category/home.do;jsessionid=0000-aprZic6r_o8C4G94SiTb8q:v2mocbr0?catCode=WINE

I'm not sure how closely this matches up with the dining room.

I'm pretty sure that someone has posted the offerings for the wine and dine package on the RCI board. If you can't find it let me know and I will type it out for you.

Cheers,

Might I suggest that you pre-purchase wines that you think you might like and try them at home before you cruise. I got the wine list off the RCI site, printed it, and headed to the store to purchase 5-6 bottles. I am soooooo glad I did! I didn't care for two of the bottles and I am thrilled that I only wasted about $15 instead of $50+ on the ship.

I took my favorite bottle last Nov. for our anniversary. I've heard that some people have had their bottles taken and stored until they left the ship--like when you buy alcohol iin port. I put my botle in my carry-on bag and walked right in. I would suggest you check with your cruiseline on what their policy is before attempting this. RCI states that they may limit alcohol brought on board and then again I read in some other stuff that no alcohol may be brought on board. I only did it because they don't carry the wine I like and I really wanted it for my anniversary. Maybe the cruiselines should let you pre-order your favorite wine before you sail.

I was told a few months ago RCI no longer did a wine package. Is this just off the site? Do you have the link? I would like to do the package! I have tried most of the Platinum one.
