Sea Princess - Lotus Spa Pool / Whirlpools Aft

Hi,

Just a quick question - the pool and whirlpools aft of the ship near the Lotus Spa - are they enclosed or al fresco? Does one need to book a Lotus Spa appointment to be able to use these pools?

 

I am used to spending my time aft on the Golden Princess in the whirlpools and hope it is somewhat similar to that.

 

Any advice?

Half and half…they are covered, but not enclosed, although they are mid-way between two decks…so they are probably sheltered fairly well.
