Cape Verde

Hi Guys

 

Anyone been to Cape Verde for the day on a cruise as to what the visa situation is, as on Cape Verde web site, it says you need a visa yet Fred Olsen says you don't on a Cruise Ship for the day, anyone answer. Is it one of those where they bill you at the end but don't tell you and how much is it. It even says UK holders need one

You don,t need a visa,follow Olsens advice.:)

We docked in Mindelo for a half day in 2006 and no visa was required.

 

I think you will find the best info will come from a cruise company which is taking you.

 

The FCO site does say that a visa is required, but that it can be obtained on arrival or holiday companies can arrange them.

All visa if needed are taken care of by The Cruise Ship , Cape Verdi or should I say mindelo was for me the best destination I won't go into any detail about the cruise as I will let you make your own mind up
