handy andy Posted September 30, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2013 Anyone know why F.O. are using evesway coaches instead of Portlink in the 2014/15 cruise collection
heywood Posted September 30, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2013 I can't help with that but I was told that P and O have stopped using Eavesway. I just had a look at P and O site and it is using Cruise Connect next year which Cunard used when we sailed with Cunard.
tartanexile81 Posted October 13, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 13, 2013 We've used Eavesway numerous times with P&O and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The drivers are very helpful and the coaches in excellent condition. I know many regular P&O-ers are disappointed that P&O have dropped Eavesway for what appears solely financial reasons. I guess because P&O now offer free coach travel to those paying full price, there's probably been a greater take-up. I also heard that Eavesway were very unhappy because (according to rumours in the laundrette!!!) they were being charged £1m to advertise in the P&O brochure. Although P&O are now using cruiseconnect we've booked Eavesway for our next cruise on P&O Oceana as they're still offering connections to and from Southampton and undercutting CruiseConnect if you're paying yourself.
