Atlantis and Sheraton

We're cruising in a couple of weeks to Nassau for a day visit and we're torn between Sheraton and Atlantis. We don't dock until midday and the Atlantis day passes seem high for the amount of time we would get using the place.

We have been thinking if looking round Atlantis for an hour or so and then heading Sheraton for the rest of the day for the day passes. Do you think this is possible? And wondered how long it would take and cost?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!!

We are two adults 35yrs travelling with our two children 14yrs and 6yrs if that makes any difference x

Just wanted to point out that the days are getting shorter, and it' get's dark earlier and earlier these days. In another couple of weeks, the water park will be closing by 4:30 and the pools/beach by 5. This shortens your day considerably.

As for looking around atlantis for an hour.. there's nothing to see for free. The only thing open to the public is the Casino (no kids allowed) and the few shops in the old tower. You're not allowed to wander the lobbies and check out the views unless you are a guest or buy a pass. Security will stop you at the entrance.

My wife and I did the Sheraton day passes this past week. We had an entire pool to ourselves. The resort was close to empty. It was amazing! For a family of 4 with children, take a taxi and avoid the jitney bus. My wife almost killed me for dragging her on the jitney, ha!
