fountain soda card question

Can I only use the card ($50 value for $25) at bars or can I use the card for a soda to be served with my dinner in the MDR?

Yes, you can use it anywhere. And, it's not always fountain soda, we sometimes got cans.

I have only used it for cans on the ships. No matter what bar I go to when I order a Coke and take out the card they always give me a can; don't even offer me a fountain soda option. (I don't ask for the can.) I just assumed the card only worked for them since that's all I have ever gotten.

Was the same amount deducted for both? I thought the fountain soda was $1.50 (for roughly 1/2 can plus ice) and the can was $1.95, but on another current soda thread somebody said they are both $1.95. Edited October 14, 2013 by jtl513

If there is no fountain available, like the Lido, they will pour from cans.

NO - it is a soda card.

Thanks. The reason I asked is that I called ship services and was told it did include bottled water for the 25.00 for 50.00 card but after reading on here it didn't appear to be so.
