Any problems with Calibe deck aft mini suites

After reading some reviews (I think from Royal passengers) I am a little concerned about the smells/odours and the soot problems.

 

I thought I did my research and found the cabin - just right - for our first cruise. We have booked on the Dawn Princess, Caribe Deck C747. Do I need to change booking or is this cabin OK.
