BenjiRodney Posted November 14, 2013 Author #26 Share Posted November 14, 2013 Some of the things we saw on the tour of Barbados, my favorite place here is Bathsheba, it is the beach with the huge boulders.

BenjiRodney Posted November 14, 2013 Author #33 Share Posted November 14, 2013 Next stop would be a lovely little fish market/village. We were served cake, fish cakes, and pumpkin fritters, and a wonderful apple juice.

BenjiRodney Posted November 14, 2013 Author #36 Share Posted November 14, 2013 We then made our way back to the cruise terminal, all of the stores that are downtown are also at the cruise terminal. There is free wifi if you take your phone iPad and want to post or check emails. Since a group of people also board in Barbados there will be another big deck party tonight. Here are a few shots of leaving Barbados.

BenjiRodney Posted November 14, 2013 Author #38 Share Posted November 14, 2013 Next stop is St. Lucia, one of my favorites of the entire cruise. We decided to do the Catamaran Cruise to the Pitons, we booked it through Carnival. It is a 4 hour scenic cruise with a swimming stop, snacks and all you can drink rum punch after swimming of course. There was one other ship with us today, the P&O Ventura. Here is a view of the dock/shopping area. We left late as the Catamaran blew a shaft as we were getting ready to leave, it was quickly repaired and we were on our way. They took us closer to the Pitons, up close views of the Sandals resorts, we got our 4 hours and money's worth.

Limeia Posted November 15, 2013 #46 Share Posted November 15, 2013 We made a brief stop at military headquarters. Did you book a tour before you got to Barbados or did you get a tour just off the ship? We are hoping to just get a tour at port. What did you have to pay for two people on your tour? We are hoping to just get a tour at port. What did you have to pay for two people on your tour? We booked through Carnival it was 55.99 a person. You could probably get a cheaper tour at the port, but this one included rum drinks at two stops as well as a small snack at another.

BenjiRodney Posted November 15, 2013 Author #49 Share Posted November 15, 2013 We love St. Kitts, it's a friendly island and we enjoy going to Brimstone Hill and Romney Manor. We booked this excursion through Carnival as well, it was called St Kitts Highlights with Brimstone Hill Fortress, is runs 59.99 per person and was scheduled for a 1230 departure, so you have the morning free to explore to port and shop.
