We recommend Country Inns on stay123.com all the time for cruisers from Bayonne, but it's more complicated if you're cruising from Manhattan.

Please provide more details - date, number of people, precruise plans in NYC, budget, etc. also, can you manage your luggage? The cost of a car service from Newark to NYC and back can wipe out any savings on the pier parking in NY.

If you're just driving in for the cruise, there are options to stay on I80 and drive to park at the port. Parking at Port Imperial and taking the ferry to Manhattan is also an option.

Thanks for the response. Yes I agree it appears that it would not be as convenient for cruising out of manhattan. I think due to the high prices of hotels to stay in the city during that particular time we will stay just across the river and take a shuttle or bus into the city. Haven't quite decided yet what we will do day of the cruise, might consider parking at imperial and taking ferry over or just driving over and parking at port for ease of departure. Will post my thoughts and opinions when we return.
