Have booked a weeks cruise at the end of May from Southampton down to Spain and France does anyone have any experience of the seas at this time of year, also has anyone ever stayed in stateroom 7332 a balcony room on the hump?? Any advice would be helpful as we have changed this cruise from a similar itinery from the end of October.

The seas in May will be just fine. :o. And a hump room is a good choice, stayed in one this year and they are just as good as a 'normal' room.
