Pkbryant Posted December 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 11, 2013 Just a quick question, do I need to pack the wine opener in my checked luggage or in my carry on? It is your standard flip wine opener. This is strictly for the ship and not for an airline. Thanks:)
arush5268d Posted December 11, 2013 #2 Share Posted December 11, 2013 Why risk it? Bring one in your checked luggage to be safe.
Starlight Durban Cruising Posted December 11, 2013 #3 Share Posted December 11, 2013 1. They will give you a complimentary one - just call Room Service. (We get one on our cruises). 2. If not available then your steward would bring you one of his to use.

Pack it in your carry on and it will be fine.
Lerin Posted December 12, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 12, 2013 (edited) We always bring our own. One of those cheap small ones. It stays in our travel bag and goes on all vacations alongside the toothpaste and what not. It's much easier than trying to hunt one down. mosaic_mom Posted December 12, 2013 #6 Share Posted December 12, 2013 We got a little white one from room service or the cabin steward (can't remember which) on one of our first cruises and it stays with our cruise things and we bring it each time we cruise. Colorado Kat Posted December 12, 2013 #7 Share Posted December 12, 2013 Doesn't matter where you pack your corkscrew. Checked luggage if you don't want to carry a potential weapon. The little ones that Carnival gives you can be tough to use. I would bring a better quality one.
redefinition Posted December 12, 2013 #8 Share Posted December 12, 2013 I've carried mine on w/ my wine. No problem.
