Drinks on Thomson cruise

Hi, Can anyone tell me if passengers are allowed to take duty free drinks on board the ship?

We have friends flying to Barbados to join a Thomson cruise and they need to know if they will be allowed to BYO from the airport duty free.

we dont know yet?:confused:....last year (on dream in caribbean) they were consficating duty free bottles at the gangway for a few weeks?.....waiting for this years transatlantic to return next week, hopefully they will let us know what the current situation is
