KrAzYGaL Posted July 14, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 14, 2005 can anyone give me any advice on parking at the pier and how difficult that may be. We will be coming from Long Island on August 8 (Carnaval Triumph) and right after the cruise are driving right back to Ohio. All suggestions would be appreciated. Joanandjoe Posted July 14, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 14, 2005 Parking on the pier is outdoors and costs $25. You may be interested in my posting from a thread on the USA board about renting a car in NY. I no longer work in NYC (now in the suburbs), so I can't check out other parking.: $25 parking? Yes, but it's $15 at a nearby Icon parking location, Hudson View Garage, 747 10th Avenue at 54th Street (see www.iconparking.com), and there may be closer or cheaper alternatives. (This one is perhaps 0.3 to 0.5 miles from the pier-an acceptable walk with two pieces of rollon luggage. Anyway, you can drop the luggage before parking the car, park, then walk the short distance to the pier, and do the reverse going home.) That's for indoor parking, rather than outdoors on the pier. Try some internet research, or maybe a friend who works in NYC can help you.

Joanandjoe Posted July 16, 2005 #5 Share Posted July 16, 2005 Of course it's $15 per day. If I read the pier web site correctly, it's $24 or $25 per day (unclear, but probably $24), with a maximum of $180 for up to one month.
