We have an 11am arrival time to board the Fantasy. Will our cabin be ready then?

 

No. What you have is a Port Arrival Time, not a boarding time. Your PAT is tied to your actual boarding number that you receive when you check in at the port. The numbers are issued beginning at checkin opening (10:30) starting with number 1.

 

Boarding begins around 11:15-11:30 with concierge guests and Platinum Castaway Club members, then boarding numbers are announced about every 5-10 minutes. Once the number being announced catches up with the number being issued at checkin, Open Boarding is announced (anyone holding any boarding number may board). This generally happens around 12:30 or so.

 

Rooms are generally ready at 1:30.

The rope drop for non-concierge cabins is 1:30. As noted, you have a terminal arrival time, not a boarding time. After boarding, get some lunch. If the kids want to swim, have them wear swimsuits under their clothing (or place suits in carry on and change in public restroom). By the time you finish lunch, your cabin is soon to be ready.

 

Concierge guests can drop their luggage in the concierge lounge where it will be guarded for them. Their cabins are ready at 1:00, sometimes sooner.
