construction delays at Port Everglades?

I saw a recent note that says that there is construction on Spangler Blvd that goes from the Crown Plaza Hotel to the Port. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with how much time delays have been noted on this route to the port if any since the construction started. I am trying to meet someone at the port and timing when to get started.

I can't say firsthand, as I've only been going to the port through the north entrance, but this is not a major hwy or interstate so I doubt that construction delays will be longer than 0-5 minutes.
