Non-US citizens Dawn Disembarkation

I am very relieved to hear that things went so smoothly. Our airline had moved our flight to 11:00. Knowing that this would be cutting it close at the best of times, I had it changed, but the next earliest flight we could get is 4:15. Obviously, time won't be an issue for us, but I'm glad to hear that we won't be spending an inordinate amount of time crammed into a crowded room, having had no breakfast and little sleep.

We'll plan for a leisurely breakfast afterwards, and have our concierge arrange for us to be among the last off the ship. :)

Thanks so much for reporting back!

As a Canadian, I am so anxious to hear some first-hand updates! Hoping to get some new information today. We are heading out on the Dawn in March, and this will be our first experience with being segregated for customs. It sounds absolutely dreadful. I've already moved our flights to late afternoon, but I'd still like to know ahead of time what to expect.

I got off the Dawn yesterday in Tampa. All the non-US citizens cleared immigration and started disembarking with the Priority guests at about 8:55.

I really don't see anyone getting "worked up over it". It seemed like a logic question since there will be more non-US citizens than a normal sailing due to the pick up of passengers in Cozumel.

 I never said there was anything wrong with the question.

I just seen a post in this very thread from someone who used words like "anxious" and "dreadful" regarding the procedure, so I was simply trying to allay those fears.

That was me! Newbie to this whole situation (and relative newbie to cruising, in general)!

Fears allayed! Thank you SO much!!! :)

If you're on before the end of March, it will be Patrick - and he is very friendly and efficient. Helped us out on several occasions. (Including this passport check thing.)

That's great to hear! I can't wait to meet him! :)
