Freeport: Beach in the morning?

We'll be in Freeport on the Carnival Pride Memorial Day week. We're only there from 7-1:30. Will it be too cold to go to the beach that early? If not where do you recommend? I just want soft sand and clear warm water I can relax in.

I was in Freeport this January. I was not on Pride but it was in port the same day with the same port times as you will have. I noticed a lot of people going to the beach. Just get going at a decent time. I am sure it will be warm enough that time of year. With such a short time I would head to the Lucayan area. It will be fastest to get a cab to. You can walk to the free part of the beach or pay for the day pass at Grand Lucayan. Plus if you want to walk over to the marketplace you can.
