I just found my entertainment schedule from the Fantasy in November--

 

Embarkation- Welcome Show/ALL of Motown

1st Sea Day- The Brits

Freeport- Love and Marriage and Hasbro

Nassau- REPEAT of Motown

2nd Sea Day- Hasbro

 

Since they're only showing a repeat of the first night's entertainment they aren't taking away from the non-concert going customers. You've already seen the show if you went to the Welcome Show.

 

We did the BTF on that same cruise and asked the Dance Captain why they showed the same show twice--his response was more or less that on the Fantasy class ships they don't have room to store all of the props and set pieces for more than two Playlist shows. So it doesn't surprise me that they're rolling out Carnival Live on a whole chunk of the Fantasy class ships.

I mistyped--The Love and Marriage show was done in the afternoon and they did a Quest style scavenger hunt (with children in attendance) that same night.

Wow how pathetic a lineup of entertainment is that. Once upon a time you would have seen a couple of flyons.

Quest can be loads of fun if done late night as R rated without the kids but used to be in addition to flyons or production shows.

When we first started cruising they were some great fly-ons, but the last one I saw was last January.

 

We keep looking at our other cruise options to see what they're offering. We'll see.
