What deck does one board on the Grand Princess (San Pedro)

The reason I ask is I am a dialysis patient (PD) and I will be bringing my dialysis machine

with me. my machine cannot be checked I carry it on a foldable card and I am somewhat handicapped (use a cane).

.

From the waiting lounge is there a elevator? to the gangway?

On my last cruise,(another cruise line) they allowed my partner and myself to board where the crew boards and we took the lift to our assigned cabin deck.

Princess ships board on deck 7, Promenade deck, in San Pedro. There is an elevator to the floor where you check in and go through Security before boarding the ship. The walkway to the gangway is pretty wide so you should have no problem but the gangway itself onto the ship might present a problem. If it were me, I'd ask for assistance when entering the building. There will be Princess reps there to help and get assistance for you. If you request assistance, you will board early so you won't have hoards of passengers trying to get past you. It's hard to ask but in this case, it's worth it.
