chamima Posted December 4, 2015 Author #51 Share Posted December 4, 2015 Chamima, how was the snorkeling at cas abou? This is embarrassing :o I walked up and down the beautiful beach and then got this wonderful, inexpensive massage and forgot all about the snorkeling....... :o
Jey01 Posted December 4, 2015 #52 Share Posted December 4, 2015 Actually that sounds wonderful! Do they have a "snack bar/drinks?" Trying to decide how much $$ to take and was wondering if I could use my MasterCard...sorry for all the questions!
chamima Posted December 4, 2015 Author #53 Share Posted December 4, 2015 They did have a snack bar and drinks , all priced reasonably. I don't remember if they took charges .
Jey01 Posted December 4, 2015 #54 Share Posted December 4, 2015 Awesome thanks so much! I keep changing my mind between cas abou and Porto Marie. I really want to go to lagun but my husband doesn't want to rent a car
rg5 Posted January 12, 2016 #55 Share Posted January 12, 2016 Kenepa is larger (much further away up West) and more beautiful. However, there are absolutely NO amenties there. During the week, no beach chairs. No toilets, restaurants, shade, etc. Cas Abao is very pretty as well and has all amenities to make your day comfortable. Both are good for snorkeling, especially if you swim along the rock formations at either side of the bay. Neither beach will be crowded on a weekday (unless there are multiple ships in port and lots of cruiseline excursions take guests to the beach). Enjoy your day in Curacao! Can you tell me which beaches are NOT rocky? My mother has trouble walking and I'd prefer a beach with nice sand, if there is one. Thanks!

Thanks! Blue Bay isn't rocky. There are lots of lounge chairs and facilities there. It's also rather close to the cruise port. I believe it's the beach that the cruise ship takes people to for a beach getaway. We took a taxi and beat the crowds. It was wonderful!
SweetPea0517 Posted February 20, 2016 #57 Share Posted February 20, 2016 Does anyone know which beach Carnival's beach day express goes too?
