Cabin metal door ?

Best thing is simply take a brown envelope... say 6 x 8 inch. Write your own cabin number on the envelope. Write your message on a slip of notepaper in the envelope and leave in the mail box of your own. Anyone trying to leave a message can leave it privately and politely in your mailbox. Leave the envelope in the mailbox and add notes at any time. It won't get lost. Or leave message on the telephone.

Such a neat and courteous way to receive messages without littering the door that others to have to look at.
