That story came from the LensRentals blog. If you visit the Cruise Critic Photo & Camera Discussions forum, you owe it to yourself to browse the LR blog as well. Roger is a (perhaps retired) spinal surgeon who launched a lens co-op that's grown to a juggernaut in the photo rental business. Amongst other posts, you really should read "Lenses: Don't Buy The Whole Set" and "First Wedding: Isn't Going To End Well".
