VIFP question

I am wondering if somebody can tell me how the point system works? My kids and I will be 29 nights while we are on a 8 night cruise next year. So that will bring us to 29 nights. Do we get a gold card when we check in at the port or do we have to go down to guest services on our 29th night and get a new gold card?

thanks

Gold starts at 25 nights, not 29. I recently read a post about someone getting platinum during a cruise and was issued platinum S&S when checking in.

Yes, that's true. If you change levels any time DURING the cruise, you become that level at the start of the cruise.
